Pianos go out of tune for a number of reasons.

They are sensitive to changes in temperature and humidity, so the more stable the environment the better.

Due to seasonal variations it is best to have your piano tuned evey 6 months, or more often if necessary.

Regular tuning will ensure that any other problems are spotted early or avoided completely.
